This project grew out of a complex relationship with my father. Somewhere between distance and closeness, I found a different way of looking at him through his solitude in the countryside and his bond with the dog.

 

It is an intimate, contemplative portrait that reveals his vulnerability, and through which I try to understand, if only for a moment, what brings us together and what keeps us apart.
